Due to a significant amount of new clients and contract awards, a fantastic opportunity has arisen with a multi-disciplined consultancy focusing heavily on Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality management services to organisation's in all sectors throughout Scotland.

Work life balance is very important to us and to evidence this we work a 9 day fortnight meaning every second week you only work a 4 day week without a reduction in holidays or salary.

Job description

We are Seeking Candidates with:

  • Minimum of 2/3 years Practical Health & Safety experience.
  • NEBOSH General (essential)
  • Any experience managing / implementing HSE Management Systems (9001, 14001 & 45001)
  • Internal / Lead Auditing Experience
  • Must live in Scotland

Desirable:

  • IOSH Membership (preferred but not essential)
  • Training Experience

Role Summary

1st Safety Solutions has a very exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate safety professional to join our team and support our fantastic, established and diverse client base. The role is a full-time position where you will be supporting a wide range of clients in many different industries across Tayside and Angus and further afield in all aspects of health and safety management and their compliance requirements.

This role requires travel throughout Scotland daily and will require 1-2 overnight stays on a monthly basis due to the location of our clients.

This is a brilliant opportunity to turn your hand to a vast array of industries and the ability to do something different every single day.

We are looking for someone who can take initiative and responsibility for looking after and supporting their own list of clients whilst using the experience and knowledge of our brilliant team.

The successful applicant MUST live within 30 miles of Perth due to the location of the majority of the work, applicants not within this area will not be considered. Diary Management is essential to this role.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular quality, environmental, health and safety audits to ensure compliance with regulations and ISO standards.
  • Develop and implement relevant policies and procedures whilst maintaining compliance with ISO standards.
  • Provide statutory training and support to clients as needed.
  • Prepare detailed reports on safety incidents and root cause analyses.
  • Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
  • Monitor compliance with health and safety legislation and recommend improvements.
