Do You Enjoy Solving Technical Problems and Working Independently?

If you're an experienced Field Service Engineer who enjoys fault-finding, repairing electro-mechanical equipment, and providing excellent customer service, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

At NoteMachine, our Engineers are essential to keeping thousands of ATMs operational across the UK. Every day, they help ensure communities, retailers, leisure venues, and businesses have reliable access to cash when they need it most.

As part of Brink's, a global leader in secure logistics and cash management, you'll benefit from the stability of an international organisation while working within a growing, supportive UK business.

About NoteMachine

NoteMachine is one of Europe's leading ATM providers, managing a network of over 14,000 ATMs and processing more than £10 billion in cash annually.

We provide innovative cash access solutions to major retailers, convenience stores, leisure operators, financial institutions, and independent businesses throughout the UK.

Backed by Brink's, which operates in over 100 countries worldwide, we offer long-term career opportunities, industry-leading training, and the chance to play a vital role in supporting critical infrastructure.

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing our ATM estate, ensuring maximum machine availability and outstanding service for our customers.

Working independently across your region, you'll combine technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and customer interaction to deliver a first-class service.

  • Carry out second-line break-fix repairs and preventative maintenance on ATM equipment, including Triton, NCR, and Wincor machines
  • Diagnose faults efficiently and achieve high first-time fix rates
  • Minimise machine downtime through effective troubleshooting and repair
  • Build positive relationships with customers and act as a professional ambassador for NoteMachine
  • Accurately record service activity, repairs, and parts usage using company systems
  • Complete quality checks to ensure work meets company and regulatory standards
  • Follow all company procedures, security protocols, and health & safety requirements
  • Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development

About You

  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively
  • Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis
  • Resident within the CA or DG postcode area
  • Ability to successfully pass financial and background screening requirements

Desirable Experience
