Equine Nutritionist – UK. & International

Location: Florida
Position: Part-Time / Full-Time
Travel: U.S. & International

Bifid.com is a premium equine nutrition marketplace specializing in high-quality European horse feeds and supplements. As we expand our presence across the United States, we are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Equine Nutritionist to become an important part of our U.K. team.

This is not a traditional desk-based nutrition role. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with professional riders, competition horses, trainers, barns, yards and international equine nutrition specialists, while helping introduce established European nutrition concepts and products to the UK and U.S market.

The Role

You will serve as one of the key nutrition voices representing Bifid in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop individualized feeding and nutrition recommendations for performance and leisure horses.
  • Work directly with Bifid's riders, trainers, barns and customers.
  • Support feeding programs and monitor horses' progress and condition.
  • Provide technical guidance on feeds, supplements and feeding strategies.
  • Participate in educational videos, interviews and media content.
  • Work with our media team to create professional educational content.
  • Provide training and nutrition education to our sales team and partners.
  • Attend selected equestrian events, competitions, barn visits and industry activities.
  • Participate in international travel and training, including opportunities to visit European manufacturers, nutrition specialists and production facilities.
  • Receive ongoing product and technical training directly from our European partners.
  • Help translate European equine nutrition knowledge into practical recommendations for the UK market.
  • Review nutrition-related marketing and educational materials for technical accuracy.
  • Contribute ideas for new products, feeding programs and educational initiatives as Bifid expands.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who combines scientific knowledge with genuine practical understanding of horses.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Degree in Equine Nutrition, Animal Nutrition, Animal Science or a closely related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of equine feeding and performance nutrition.
  • Experience with performance horses is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence communicating with professional riders, trainers and horse owners.
  • Comfortable appearing on camera and presenting educational material.
  • Interest in European approaches to equine nutrition and feeding.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with an international team.

Why Join Bifid?

This position offers the opportunity to become involved of an international equine nutrition platform in the United Kingdom.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to European feed manufacturers and nutrition specialists, receive international product training, work with athletes and performance horses, participate in professional media production, and have the opportunity to grow into a larger role as our UK business expands.

Benefits:

  • Employee discount

Application Question(s):

  • How many years of practical experience do you have developing feeding programs or providing nutritional advice for horses?
  • Are you comfortable traveling within the U.S. and internationally, working directly with riders and barns
  • Are you comfortable speaking confidently on camera and presenting educational equine nutrition topics for media purposes?
