Full job description

Wholesale Body Jewellery | Poole, Dorset (fully on-site) | £35,000 to £38,000 depending on experience | Full time

About us

Wholesale Body Jewellery is one of the UK's leading trade suppliers to the professional piercing and tattoo industry. For over 20 years we have supplied studios across the UK and Europe with body jewellery, piercing consumables and tattoo supplies, built on a simple promise: great products, fair prices, same-day dispatch and customer service that actually cares.

We are family-owned, bootstrapped and growing, with a portfolio of own brands including Ti Couture, Tanto, SteriPierce and Moth alongside the industry's best-known distributed brands. Thousands of studios order from us every month, and most of them come back.

The role

We are hiring a Digital Content and CRM Executive to drive the organic growth of our ecommerce business. This is a hands-on, mid-level role for a digital generalist who wants real ownership, not a narrow lane.

The heart of the job is content. Our catalogue runs to over 9,000 products across piercing and tattoo, and we have a clear, data-backed opportunity to grow organic traffic by building the best product and category content in our industry. You will own that programme end to end: the keyword research, the content itself and the rollout plan, with the freedom to shape how it gets done and the data to show it working.

Alongside that, you will run our email marketing: planning and delivering campaigns to our trade customer base in BloomReach, with support from our CRM agency, and helping develop the automated flows that keep studios coming back.

We are a fast-moving business and everyone here pitches in, so the split below is a guide rather than a cage. You will need the flexibility to support the wider team when the work demands it.

How your time will roughly be spent:

  • SEO and web content (around 50%). Keyword research, writing and optimising product and category pages, on-page SEO, working with our SEO agency on priorities and measurement.
  • Email and CRM (around 30%). Planning and delivering email campaigns from brief to send, campaign copy, list segmentation, reporting, and supporting automated flow development with our CRM agency.
  • Web improvements and team support (around 20%). Supporting site improvements through content, merchandising and briefing our development partners, and lending a hand across the wider marketing team when needed.

You will report to our Senior Marketing Manager and work closely with our SEO, CRM and paid media agencies. There is no people management in this role. You will be judged on output: content shipped, campaigns sent, rankings and revenue moved.

Who we are looking for

  • Two to three years' experience in a digital marketing or ecommerce role, ideally in-house at an online retailer or wholesaler
  • A genuine digital generalist: strong across content, email and the day-to-day running of an ecommerce site, and happy moving between them
  • A strong writer who can produce clear, accurate, search-friendly product and category content at pace
  • Experience planning and sending email marketing campaigns end to end (any major platform; BloomReach experience is a bonus, not a requirement, and full training and agency support are provided)
  • Comfortable with Google Search Console, GA4 and basic SEO tools, and able to use data to prioritise
  • Comfortable using AI tools to speed up research, drafting and production, with the judgement to keep quality high
  • A full team player who supports colleagues and mucks in when the business needs it
  • Organised, self-sufficient and good at building momentum across several workstreams at once
  • Familiarity with Shopify is helpful but not essential

In an ideal world you will have some familiarity with the piercing and tattoo world, but it is not essential. Curiosity about the products and the people who use them matters more.

What we offer

  • £35,000 to £38,000 depending on experience
  • A clearly defined role with honest priorities and a measurable brief
  • A real, evidenced growth opportunity to own from day one, with visible results
  • Direct exposure to senior marketing leadership and established specialist agencies
  • A fast-moving, ambitious family business supplying an industry full of character
