About the role
Were looking for an experienced Accords Operator / Setter to join our team at PAR Group, part of the rapidly growing R&G Fluid Power Group.
In this hands-on role, youll machine high-quality components from plastics, rubber and other specialist materials, working from technical drawings to tight tolerances. Youll play a key role in ensuring production efficiency, quality standards and safe working practices.
What youll be doing
- Set and operate SCM Accord / flatbed CNC routers
- Interpret technical drawings and machine parts to tolerance
- Convert raw materials (plastics, rubber, Tufnol, wood) into finished components
- Adjust CNC programmes using Xilog / PanelMac software
- Select and maintain appropriate tooling, including insert changes and regrinds
- Carry out first-off and final inspections using measuring equipment
- Complete FAIR reports and quality checks
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment
- Support team workload and mentor apprentices
- Operate multiple machines on longer production runs
What were looking for
3+ years experience operating/setting CNC routers (SCM Accord preferred)
Strong understanding of technical drawings and tolerances
Experience in a manufacturing / production environment
Good knowledge of tooling and machining processes
High attention to detail and quality standards
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Good awareness of health & safety
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
