HIVED is transforming the delivery industry with our 100% electric fleet and innovative logistics solutions. Operating within the M25, we’re committed to sustainability, efficiency, and empowering independent drivers.
We are seeking entrepreneurial and motivated individuals who want to run their own delivery business while partnering with a pioneering startup.
Service Overview
As a self-employed delivery contractor within HIVED’s Partner Driver Programme, you'll have control over your schedule and earnings.
Key Information

  • Contract Type: Self-employed contractor
  • Location: Specifically seeking self-employed individuals based in East London or nearby areas to ensure shorter travel distances and efficient delivery routes
  • Routes & Scheduling: Flexible delivery blocks available, operating 7 days a week
  • Route Duration: Up to 5 hours, depending on traffic
  • Start Time: 6:00 PM
  • Service Pay: £60–£85 per completed route
  • Payment Frequency: Fortnightly
  • Vehicle Options: Use your own electric car (no hybrid) or use a provided electric vehicle
  • Sorting: No sorting required, routes are pre-sorted to minimise depot waiting time
  • What we deliver: Clothing, food, alcohol

Ideal:

  • Motivated self-starters interested in running their own business or being self-employed
  • Individuals seeking flexibility, independence, and control over their income
  • Drivers with multi-drop experience preferred (though not essential)

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence, with 1 year on licence and less than 6 points
  • Proof of Right to Work in the UK
  • DVLA Check Code
  • If using your own vehicle, appropriate hire & insurance cover is required

Preferred Service Skills

  • 3+ months of multi-drop delivery experience
  • Effective time management to meet delivery schedules
  • Strong communication skills for customer interaction and operational coordination

Benefits of Partnering with HIVED

  • Own Vehicle Charging Compensation: 30p per planned mile
  • Own Vehicle Compensation: £30 per completed route
  • Peak-Time Incentive: Earn an additional £15 on top of your route pay when picking up Thursday or Friday blocks during peak periods and completing the route successfully
  • Tolls & Congestion Charges: Eligible tolls and congestion charges incurred while completing HIVED routes are reimbursed by HIVED
