Job Advert Waking Night Support Worker - Supported Accommodation

Salary

HOURS 9PM - 12PM - £13.50 per hour from 9pm PLUS sleep in 12PM - 7AM @£70. Staff must commit to at least one shift per week

Additional hours 7 am until 9pm available at £12.98 per hour

We are a passionate, family run service with over 25 years collective experience working with Children, Young People and Vulnerable Adults services across the Keynsham Area.

We provide person centered support and housing for Children, Young People and Vulnerable Adults 16-21 years old who have experienced trauma in early years.

We are looking to recruit candidates who are committed to making a difference, have fun, actively support and develop Children, Young People and Vulnerable Adults with their journey to independence.

Key Responsibilities/ Skills:

  • Promote Independence through individual support planning, empowerment, promoting life skills, positive, preventative approach and promoting development of managed risk
  • To encourage individuality, confidence and self-esteem to achieve the best outcomes for our Children, Young People and Vulnerable Adults.
  • Working in partnership with team members and external agencies to ensure safeguarding.
  • Accurate record keeping

Experience/ Qualifications

  • Experience is desirable but not essential as full training is provided

  • QCF Level 3/4 Children and Young people or a willingness to work towards
  • A full driving license and access to a vehicle that you can have business insurance for is essential

About the role:

Our Waking Night Support Worker position will be positively supporting young people within their accommodation in Gloucester. We support our clients to develop independence skills, fulfill their goals, maximise outcomes and build their ambitions. Weekends and Bank Holiday cover will be required.
