Traffic Marshal – Wincanton Racecourse

£14.25 per hour | Zero-Hour Contract

About the Role

We are currently recruiting Traffic Marshals to join our event team at Wincanton Racecourse.

As a Traffic Marshal, you will help ensure the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and visitors during events. You will also be one of the first members of the CSP team that visitors see, so a professional, friendly and helpful approach is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directing traffic and managing vehicle flow
  • Assisting with car parking and ensuring vehicles are parked safely and efficiently
  • Supporting pedestrian and vehicle safety
  • Providing clear directions and assistance to visitors
  • Following site procedures and instructions
  • Delivering a professional and welcoming customer service experience
  • Working effectively as part of the wider event team

What We’re Looking For

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and daytime shifts
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable, punctual and professional
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Able to work independently when required
  • Smart and professional appearance
  • Previous Traffic Marshal or event experience is desirable but not essential
