Full job description

At Zoo Events Group, we don’t believe in simply meeting expectations, our team ensures every project is completed with precision and care. We consider “above and beyond” to be our bare minimum. From delivering premium washroom infrastructure with ZooLoos at the Silverstone Circuit to setting up luxury boutique glamping with ZooBells at Lost Village and Boomtown Festival.

We are looking for a true company sponge, someone who wants to get stuck into every element of our business, learn our operations inside out, and play a pivotal role in our success. This is a brand new role within our company and is the perfect opportunity to develop and grow. If you have a high attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for spreadsheets, we want you!

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Master the Puzzle: Coordinate our day-to-day logistics, including both internal and external haulage requirements, load sheets, and staff schedules, whilst collaborating closely with our Operations team to ensure seamless execution.
  • Keep the wheels moving: You will learn how transport compliance works, assisting with necessary requirements, servicing & maintenance schedules.
  • Yard & Ops Synergy: This is an active role where you'll help lead from the front, ensuring all equipment is safely prepared, loaded and unloaded for the next big project. You will be the link between our onsite events teams and the yard operations.
  • On the Tools: Physically work hand-in-hand with our maintenance department, being actively involved in learning how our equipment functions.
  • The Process Innovator: You'll help implement new processes to streamline departments and make our day-to-day work more efficient.

Are You Who We’re Looking For?

  • A "Get Stuck In" Attitude: You aren’t afraid of hard work, long summer hours or wearing multiple hats. When the pressure is on, you rise to the occasion.
  • An Absolute Sponge: You want to learn everything. You’ll absorb how our systems work, how we get our equipment from A to B, and enhance your skills.
  • Obsessive Attention to Detail: At prestigious events, the little things matter. You are someone who notices the missing link before anyone else does.
  • A Natural Problem Solver: You need to be adaptable, level-headed, and energized by the fast-paced nature of the industry.
  • Team Player and Communicator: You’ll be chatting with yard crews, maintenance teams, haulage drivers, and directors. A friendly, collaborative, and professional approach is essential.

Please Note:

This is a role that is 50/50 office and hands-on work involving yard coordination and equipment preparation, a forklift licence or previous forklift experience is necessary for this position. Additionally experience using Google Sheets or Excel is essential. A background in an operational role is advantageous but not essential.

Hours are predominantly 8am-5pm weekdays however, overtime and weekend work is a given during busier times, and sometimes will involve work on site.

Why Zoo Events Group?

We work at some of the biggest and coolest events in the UK calendar, and our team is a tight-knit family of like-minded, fun, and driven individuals. This is a role where your hard work is visibly rewarded, your ideas are listened to, and your career can genuinely skyrocket.
