Location: Evergreen Lodge, Wirral – 40 beds of care, compassion & character
Specialism: Mental Health Support (where every day truly makes a difference)

About Us

We’re a specialist mental health service, supporting adults with empathy, dignity, and a good dose of personality. Evergreen Lodge is a place where wellbeing comes first, laughter is encouraged, and every team member has a real impact.

The Role

We’re searching for a compassionate, energetic, and wonderfully human Healthcare Assistant to join our Evergreen family. Someone who believes that understanding a person’s story is just as important as supporting their daily care.

You’ll be:

  • Supporting personal care (and ensuring pyjamas are the right way round!).
  • Encouraging independence, confidence, and meaningful activity – from music sessions to mindful walks in our garden.
  • Following care plans and spotting small changes that matter.
  • Maintaining accurate digital records (we promise – no paper mountains!).
  • Creating a warm, safe, positive environment for residents and teammates alike.
  • Bringing patience, kindness, and a spark of personality to every shift.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in care — mental health experience especially welcome.
  • Clear, compassionate communication.
  • Comfortable using digital care systems (or willing to learn!).
  • A team player with initiative, resilience, and heart.
  • Someone who knows that humour is sometimes the best medicine.
