We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Administrator in HMP/YOI Low Newton, Brasside, Durham DH1 5YA.

The base salary is £27,426 - £28,304.

The standard hours of work are 39 per week, between 08:00 – 16:30 Monday to Friday (finish at 15:30 Friday).

Join our vibrant, inclusive community in Ministry of Justice (MoJ) account working on Facilities Management, delivering critical services for prisons that make a real positive impact across the UK.

At Amey, we’re supporting our justice client, His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) by providing them with safe, clean and efficient prisons. By using our facilities management expertise, we help keep 60 secure premises across England and Wales running smoothly.

What you will do:

• Liaise day-to-day with contractors and work staff
• Use Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system to close jobs
• Input to and maintain spread sheets/databases/systems and produce and collate reports
• Work with HMPS on site vetting team to aid in the onboarding of new starters
• General administration tasks, as directed by Site Manager and Team Leaders

What you will bring:

• Team player to work alongside colleagues and stakeholders
• Flexible attitude to work with ability to prioritise workload
• Good communication skills to develop and maintain multiple working relationships
• IT literate with experience of Microsoft packages and management systems or other similar data entry and reporting database applications
• Experience in a fast-paced office environment
