The Role:

As Sheriff Officers, we provide an essential role in the administration of justice

We are responsible for all aspects of civil law enforcement including debt collection

We are looking for a bright and highly motivated individual to join our Aberdeen based, Sheriff Officer team. If you have the right blend of people orientated communication skills and are able to multi-task and enjoy working in a highly professional and regulated working environment, then please get in touch.

What you will be doing:

You will initially start your career at Walker Love as a Sheriff Officer’s Witness. This will involve working in the field, attending with a qualified Sheriff Officer, when serving legal documents and enforcing court orders. Assuming that you have the right people skills, personal attributes and academic qualifications, then you will be offered a fully supported training package in preparation for the professional examination.

Other office-based support activities will include:

· Office administration - case work - review, maintain and accurately update records

· Fully comply with company processes and regulatory procedures

· Adopt a flexible approach to assist with any other ad hoc duties as reasonably requested

To excel in this role, you will require to:

· Be highly professional and courteous at all times

· Have the ability to study and prepare for a rigorous written examination

· Actively listen to customers, so that you can effectively help them

· Process data quickly and accurately, including file attachments and encryption

· Achieve fair and relevant quality and productivity targets/KPIs

· Support your colleagues by multi-tasking

· Respond positively to ongoing coaching and deployment

· Demonstrate the very highest standards of data protection

· Embrace all aspects of our compliance framework and customer care standards
