Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our evenings and weekend healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing personalised treatment programmes to improve patients' mobility and overall well-being. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing essential patient care across various settings, including hospitals and outpatient clinics. The ideal applicant will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine commitment to enhancing patient recovery.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and pain levels.
  • Develop personalised treatment plans based on physiological principles and individual patient needs.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to facilitate recovery.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment programmes accordingly to optimise outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of treatments provided and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in physiotherapy practices, including advancements in anatomy knowledge and medical terminology.

Experience

  • Previous musculoskeletal experience is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in patient care within a clinical setting.
  • Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. This role offers an enriching environment for professional growth while making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives through expert physiotherapy care.
