We’re looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Bakery Manager to lead daily operations across the bakery. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for quality baking and hospitality, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience while maintaining smooth and efficient operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily operations including opening/closing procedures, staff scheduling and inventory management
  • Cookie production and baking ensuring quality and consistency in flavour and presentation
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control stock to minimise waste
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
  • Lead, train, and motivate bakery staff to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards of food preparation
  • Monitor and control food costs
  • Develop strategies to boost sales, improve efficiency, and enhance the customer experience.
  • Maintain the highest possible standard in stores for both workplace and customer facing areas
  • Handle customer enquiries professionally and resolve any issues promptly

Experience

  • Passion for hospitality and a desire to grow in this industry
  • Proven experience in food production, food preparation, or cooking within a bakery or similar environment
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
  • Previous restaurant or bakery management experience is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Familiarity with managing and and ability to inspire a team
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
  • Flexibility to work mornings and weekends as required- we open during the day so no late nights!
