Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Sunday Lunch Host and Cashier to join our team. This role involves welcoming guests, managing reservations, and providing excellent service in a warm and inviting environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and previous experience in restaurant or hotel settings. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently
  • Seat guests and ensure they are comfortable during their visit
  • Handle cashier duties, including processing payments and issuing receipts
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area and dining space
  • Provide information about menu options and daily specials to guests
  • Manage phone enquiries courteously, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
  • Assist in setting up tables and ensuring the dining area is welcoming for all guests

Skills

  • Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or hotel environment is highly desirable
