Framework Creative is a property media and creative agency based in the West of Scotland, providing high-quality photography, videography and digital content to estate agents, property developers and other businesses within the property sector.

As our client base continues to grow, we are expanding our coverage into Edinburgh and the surrounding areas and are looking for talented photographers and videographers to become part of the Framework Creative team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Property Photographer & Videographer to cover client shoots throughout Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.

The role will involve capturing high-quality property photography and video content across a wide range of residential properties, from everyday homes through to premium and luxury properties, new-build developments and showhomes.

Videography is an important part of the role. Candidates should be confident shooting both traditional landscape property videos and engaging short-form portrait content and reels designed for Instagram, TikTok and other social platforms.

You will work closely with our wider photography, videography and editing team to ensure a consistent standard of content across all Framework Creative clients.

Duties

• Photograph residential properties, developments and showhomes to a consistently high standard.
• Capture professional property videography using smooth, considered camera and gimbal movements.
• Produce both landscape property videos and short-form 9:16 portrait video content for social media.
• Understand how shooting styles differ between traditional property marketing videos and fast-paced social media content.
• Capture creative detail, lifestyle and feature shots alongside standard property coverage.
• Edit photography and video content where required.
• Work primarily within Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing.
• Work with the wider Framework Creative team to develop creative concepts and new approaches to property content.
• Represent Framework Creative professionally when working directly with clients, homeowners and property developers.
• Manage shoot schedules effectively and arrive at appointments on time.
• Maintain consistent quality and presentation across multiple client accounts.

Requirements

• Strong photography and videography skills.
• A good understanding of property and architectural photography.
• Strong videography skills with particular confidence using gimbals and producing smooth property walkthrough footage.
• Proficiency in short-form portrait videography, including shooting specifically for Reels, TikTok and other vertical platforms.
• Ability to shoot high-quality traditional landscape property videos.
• Good understanding of composition, lighting, exposure and camera movement.
• Video editing experience, preferably using Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Good understanding of video pacing, music, transitions and editing for both property marketing and social media.
• Excellent time management and reliability.
• Comfortable working independently while remaining part of a wider creative team.
• Confident communicating directly with clients and homeowners.
• Full UK driving licence and access to suitable transport.
• Previous experience within property media, photography, videography or another relevant creative field is preferred.

Equipment

Applicants should be comfortable using professional mirrorless/DSLR camera equipment, wide-angle lenses and gimbals.

Experience with drones, Matterport/360° cameras and other property media equipment would be advantageous, although training can be provided where appropriate.

While we're looking for someone with a strong foundation in photography and videography, we are also open to individuals who are eager to learn, develop their skills and grow with Framework Creative.

We're particularly interested in people who understand that property media is changing quickly and are enthusiastic about developing both traditional property photography and modern social-first video content.
