Registered General Manager – Nursing Home

Iden Manor Nursing Home | Staplehurst, Kent
£70,000–£75,000 per year + up to 20% performance bonus
Permanent | Full-time | 40 hours per week

Lead Iden Manor with us, not simply for us.

We’re looking for an experienced NMC-registered nurse and Registered Manager who wants a real voice in the home they lead.

You’ll take responsibility for Iden Manor Nursing Home, a successful 51-bed nursing home with strong occupancy, an established team and a reputation built over many years.

But we’re not recruiting someone simply to maintain what is already here.

We want your ideas, your experience and your judgement. You’ll have the freedom to shape and strengthen the team around you, influence how we invest and work directly with our leadership team to decide where Iden Manor goes next.

If you’re an experienced nursing home Registered Manager who still has the ambition to make things better, rather than simply keep things running, we’d like to hear from you.

What you’ll lead

As Registered General Manager, you’ll have overall responsibility for the clinical, operational and commercial performance of Iden Manor Nursing Home.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Clinical quality, governance and CQC compliance
  • Leadership, culture and development of the team
  • Resident and family experience
  • Occupancy, referrals and commercial performance
  • Quality improvement and continuous inspection readiness
  • Innovation and the effective use of technology
  • Community and professional relationships
  • Developing Iden Manor’s person-led, hospitality-focused approach

You’ll have the authority to make decisions, develop your management team and turn good ideas into action, with direct access to the Hoama leadership team.

What you’ll bring

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Active UK NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager of a UK nursing home
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulation and clinical governance
  • A track record of leading, developing and holding teams accountable
  • Experience of maintaining and improving care quality and regulatory standards
  • Confidence managing occupancy, referrals, budgets and operational performance
  • Sound judgement and the confidence to make decisions
