This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced designer with a strong background in jersey and woven dresses to play a key role in shaping future collections.

Reporting directly to the Head of Design, you will be responsible for the design and development of dresses alongside a broader multi-product womenswear range. Working collaboratively with Design, Product and Merchandising teams, you will take ownership of product categories from initial concept through to final production, ensuring collections are commercially relevant, trend-led and aligned with the brand vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop jersey and woven dresses, alongside multi-product womenswear categories.
  • Research seasonal trends, fabrics, trims and colour direction to create commercially successful collections.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical packs and design specifications.
  • Attend fit sessions and work closely with Product teams to ensure the highest standards of fit and quality.
  • Manage product development in line with critical path deadlines.
  • Liaise with overseas factories and suppliers to resolve development and production issues.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver ranges that meet customer and business objectives.

About You:

  • Previous Womenswear Design experience at Designer, Senior Designer or equivalent level within a premium, lifestyle or high street fashion brand.
  • Strong experience designing jersey and woven dresses is essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of garment construction, fit and product development.
  • Proven experience creating detailed technical packs and specifications.
  • Confident working closely with overseas suppliers, factories and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong trend awareness combined with a commercial mindset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office.

The Opportunity:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing retailer during an exciting period of expansion. In return, the successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, excellent benefits package and the chance to play a key role within a collaborative and creative design team.
