The role

If you're passionate about product design and excited by the opportunity to influence a global eyewear range, this could be the perfect next step. As Design Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping and advancing our frame collections across multiple markets, helping us deliver relevant, diverse and trend-led products that our customers love. Working at the heart of our Frame Development team, you'll help bring our purpose of changing lives through better sight and hearing to life through great design.

You'll interpret global fashion, eyewear and consumer trends, turning them into clear creative direction across shape, colour, material and detailing. You'll help create and communicate inspiring creative and trend briefs to Buying, markets, brands and suppliers, ensuring our ranges remain relevant, innovative and customer-focused. Strong attention to detail and the confidence to challenge when a product isn't delivering the intended design vision will be key. You'll also help present creative concepts and build strong partnerships across a wide range of stakeholders.

Working collaboratively with Buying, you'll develop and manage product design briefs from concept through to sign-off. You'll review CADs and physical samples through a creative design lens, ensuring the intended shape, proportion, colour, detailing and overall design direction are successfully delivered. From coordinating design reviews and managing critical paths to supporting the smooth progression of products through development, you'll ensure every stage is delivered with consistency, quality and attention to detail.

We're looking for someone with a strong creative eye and a foundation in product, fashion or accessory design, alongside the enthusiasm and potential to develop deeper eyewear design expertise. You'll bring excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office is essential, alongside strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills. You'll support your creative judgement with customer, sales and commercial insight, using insight and data to support good design decisions. A proactive mindset, curiosity for trends and innovation, and a focus on continuous improvement will help you thrive in this role.

In return, you'll have the opportunity to influence the future of our global frame collections, contribute to exciting initiatives and help shape how design is experienced across our business. If you're ready to bring fresh thinking, trend-led creativity and a customer-first approach to a collaborative global team, we'd love to hear from you.
