Overview
Jered - Marine system Technology, a PAR Company, focuses on providing global naval marine customers with complex naval marine door systems, hatches and cutting-edge fire-resistant panel systems.

We are seeking a skilled MIG and TIG Welder to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the quality and integrity of our metal products, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities include

  • Perform welding of mild and stainless material
  • Dressing of welds, polishing and graining on stainless steel fabrications
  • Interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
  • Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Depending on business needs working shifts and/or overtime may be required
  • Open to obtaining further, relevant qualification/standards or welding

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 welder / fabricator qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience of TIG / MIG
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good team player
  • A commitment to safety practices within the workplace is crucial.

This is a full time, permanent position based on-site in Winsford. Hours are Monday to Thursday 0730-1630 and Friday 0730-1330. There is also the option to work a 9-day fortnight working pattern.
