The Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Assembly Operator to join our production team. You will be responsible for assembling bespoke riser recliner chairs, ensuring all items are manufactured to the highest quality standards and customer specifications.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with assembly or manufacturing experience in mobility furniture who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble bespoke mobility furniture including chairs and recliners.
  • Work from job sheets and production instructions.
  • Use hand tools, power tools and impact drills safely and effectively.
  • Fit mechanical and electrical components where required.
  • Carry out quality checks throughout the assembly process.
  • Identify and report defects or quality concerns.
  • Meet production targets while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
  • Assist with remedial and rework activities when required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across production departments.

What We're Looking For Essential

  • Previous furniture assembly / manufacturing experience .
  • Experience using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and follow job sheets and work instructions.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work to production targets.
  • Understanding of health and safety procedures.
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks

Pay: £13.40 per hour
