Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Factory Worker to join our manufacturing team. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth production of high-quality glass products in a safe and efficient environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting various stages of the production process, adhering to quality standards, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in glass production and seeking to develop their skills within a dynamic industry. Must have at least 2 years right to work in the UK.

Job Description

  • Work night shift on a fast-paced factory production line manufacturing glass product
  • Learn to operate and maintain glass processing machinery
  • Monitor product quality and ensure all work meets high standards
  • Carry out manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting
  • Ensure daily production targets and deadlines are consistently met
  • Work effectively as part of a team to support smooth operations
  • Demonstrate self-motivation, proactivity, and the ability to use initiative
  • Always adhere to all health and safety regulations
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned by management, as required

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of English is required
  • Must maintain good attendance
  • Basic computer knowledge is preferred, as it will help in understanding and operating our machines more efficiently
  • Should be physically fit, as the role involves manual handling and lifting tasks
  • Must be a reliable team player with a positive and cooperative attitude
