Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Powder Coater to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying powder coatings to various metal components, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong interest in finishing processes.

Duties

  • Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or masking prior to coating
  • Follow our ISO 9001 policies and procedures
  • Operate powder coating equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring even application of coatings
  • Monitor coating thickness and quality throughout the process
  • Maintain and clean equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance
  • Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections and perform touch-ups as necessary
  • Assist with loading and unloading to hanging trolleys
  • Follow health and safety protocols at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • keep work a clean and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards

Experience

  • Experience in Powder Coating is advantageous
  • Experience using hand tools, and power tools equipment is desirable
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or related industries preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
