At CutMy.co.uk, we’re transforming how people do DIY; making it simple, sustainable, and satisfying. We live by our CARE values: Communication, Action, Respect, and Empowerment. With a strong focus on quality and precision, we take pride in getting every detail right first time.

We work within a structured, high-output production environment where teamwork, clear communication, and consistent standards are key to delivering quality at pace.

About the role

As a Packing Operative on our Twilight Shift, you’ll be a vital part of our production process; ensuring every order leaves our facility carefully packed and ready to delight our customers.

You'll help us deliver on our promise of quality and speed, all while contributing to a respectful, lean-driven work culture.

Sunday to Thursday, 4.00pm – 1.00am + overtime opportunities

What you’ll do

  • Pack with Purpose: Accurately and carefully pack custom-cut materials (like wood panels and splashbacks), ensuring all items meet quality and presentation standards.
  • Check & Confirm: Inspect items for any defects or irregularities and report or correct where necessary.
  • Support the Flow: Prepare items for dispatch, label packages correctly, and keep packing areas tidy and well-stocked.
  • Own Your Area: Take responsibility for your workspace, tools, and end results, aligned with Lean principles.
  • Be prepared to be on your feet for most of the shift

Who You Are

  • Detail-Driven: You care about getting the small things right—whether that’s checking an order or how you tape a box.
  • Lean-Minded: You spot inefficiencies and like to suggest improvements that save time or reduce waste.
  • Team-Oriented: You show respect, communicate openly, and support your colleagues.
  • Reliable & Focused: You turn up ready to deliver and take pride in consistent work.
  • Twilight-Ready: Comfortable working evenings and committed to a full-time twilight shift schedule.

Bonus skills (nice to have)

  • Previous experience in packing, warehouse, or manufacturing environments
  • Forklift licence or experience with dispatch systems
  • Experience in a Lean or continuous improvement-focused workplace
