Full job description

We are seeking a hardworking, enthusiastic, and reliable Summer Estate Worker to join our team on a private estate (3 months). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, working as part of a team, and doesn't mind rolling up their sleeves.

You will be working alongside our permanent gardening and estate team, assisting with the general upkeep, presentation, and daily running of the grounds and properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gardening Support: Assist the main gardening & estate team with weeding, planting, watering, and general garden maintenance.
  • Lawn Care: Operate strimmers and lawnmowers to keep paths, borders, and lawns looking immaculate.
  • Estate Presentation: Assist with outdoor tasks such as stacking logs/firewood and clearing pathways.
  • Event Preparation: Help set up, move furniture, and prepare areas of the estate for summer events or family gatherings.
  • Cleaning & Upkeep: Undertake light outdoor cleaning duties (e.g., jet-washing, tidying outbuildings, clearing debris) to keep the estate pristine.

What We Are Looking For

  • Reliability & Punctuality: Someone who shows up on time, ready to work with a positive attitude.
  • Love for the Outdoors: Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions (come rain or shine!).
  • Physical Fitness: This is a hands-on, physically active role involving lifting, bending, and walking.
