At Up & Away Aviation Detailing, we don’t just clean aircraft — we elevate them. Serving the UK’s private aviation sector, we’re known for delivering immaculate interiors, flawless exteriors, and exceptional attention to detail. Now, we’re looking for passionate individuals to join our team at Farnborough Airport.

If you take pride in precision, enjoy hands-on work, and love the idea of being around private jets every day, this could be your perfect role.

What you’ll be doing

No two days are the same in this dynamic airport environment. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Transforming aircraft interiors to pristine, VIP-ready condition
  • Washing, polishing, and restoring aircraft exteriors
  • Performing specialist treatments (paint, leather, carpets, and coatings like Xzilon)
  • Valeting company and customer vehicles
  • Maintaining equipment and ensuring everything is stocked and ready
  • Working safely at height and in confined spaces
  • Delivering consistently high standards that meet exacting client expectations

What we’re looking for

We value attitude just as much as experience. You’ll thrive here if you are:

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible with working hours (4 on / 4 off, 11-hour shifts)
  • Calm under pressure and able to meet tight schedules
  • Discreet and professional when working around VIP aircraft

Essential requirements:

  • Previous valeting or aviation experience
  • Full UK manual driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK + valid ID/passport
  • 5-year checkable work history (for airport clearance)
  • Willingness to undergo training and background checks

Nice to have (but not essential)

  • IPAF certification
