Full job description
Attention House is a creator-growth studio for fashion, beauty and lifestyle creators. The team behind it has specialised in short-form creator growth since 2022.
We build the strategic Reels layer behind a creator’s page: identity, repeatable formats, ideas, scripting, filming direction, editing and performance testing.
We’re looking for a fashion-native Copy & Format Writer who can turn strategic ideas into short-form content that sounds natural, feels current and remains distinctive to each creator.
This is not a traditional fashion editorial or brand-copy role. You’ll be writing for real creators speaking directly to their audiences on Instagram and TikTok.
What you’ll do
- Develop repeatable Reel formats around each creator’s identity, taste and audience.
- Turn 5–6 core format families into multiple fresh, on-brand episodes.
- Write hooks, scripts, talking points, text overlays, captions and audience prompts.
- Create simple filming briefs that creators can realistically follow.
- Build creator voice guides and format bibles.
- Develop recurring language, beliefs, references and concepts that strengthen the creator’s world.
- Adapt the same short-form mechanics to very different personalities without making creators feel interchangeable.
- Research fashion, beauty, lifestyle and social trends, then filter them through each creator’s positioning rather than chasing everything.
- Review performance data and help evolve formats based on what audiences respond to.
- Work closely with our creative director, fashion editor and operations team.
You should understand
- Instagram Reels, TikTok and UGC-style content.
- Short-form hooks, retention, open loops, pacing and emotional beats.
- The difference between content that looks good and content that gives people a reason to follow.
- Creator branding, identity signalling, worldbuilding and counter-positioning.
- How to make scripts feel conversational rather than written or overly polished.
- Fashion and beauty culture, language, creators, brands and changing aesthetics.
- How to make content commercially attractive without turning every Reel into an advert.
- How to write around a creator’s actual wardrobe, locations, comfort level and filming limitations.
You’ll be a strong fit if
- You are genuinely native to fashion, beauty and creator culture.
- You regularly consume and analyse Reels and TikToks.
- You have strong taste and can quickly identify what feels current, forced, generic or cringe.
- You can preserve a creator’s natural voice while making the idea sharper.
- You are organised, fast and comfortable working within fortnightly content cycles.
- You can take feedback without becoming protective over copy.
- You understand that volume comes through repeatable format systems
Experience as a creator, UGC creator, social copywriter, fashion marketer or creator strategist is highly valuable.
Pay: £16.00 per hour
