Social Media & Content Creation Internship (Office Based)

Weddings & Honeymoons Media – Richmond upon Thames

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative, digitally savvy intern to join the social media team at Romantic Travellers Collection, publishers of leading magazine titles including Weddings & Honeymoons Magazine, Destination Weddings & Romantic Traveller, and the International Magazine of the Year special on Taylor Swift.

If you’re passionate about storytelling, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and digital trends — and you’d love to gain experience with one of the UK’s most dynamic lifestyle media brands — this is the perfect opportunity to launch your media career.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assist in planning and creating daily social media content across Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest
  • Edit and produce short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, behind-the-scenes clips, interviews, and event highlights)
  • Help manage posting schedules, captions, and community engagement
  • Support campaign launches for magazine issues, bridal shoots, and the UK Wedding & Honeymoon Awards
  • Research social media trends, hashtags, and creative formats to grow engagement
  • Work closely with the editorial and design teams to align all content with brand tone and visuals
  • Contribute ideas for new video series, influencer collaborations, and digital storytelling

Who You Are

  • Passionate about social media, weddings, fashion, and lifestyle
  • Creative and confident using video and design tools such as CapCut, Canva, Premiere Pro, or Photoshop
  • Strong sense of style, visual storytelling, and attention to detail
  • Excellent grammar and communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and a team player

Qualifications & Skills

  • A Level / BTEC (or equivalent) in Media, Communications, Design, or Marketing (required)
  • University Degree in a related field (required)
  • Experience creating video or social content for personal, university, or brand accounts
  • Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube Shorts (send us examples)
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or other editing software
