Location: Milton Keynes Central Office, MK13 8PE

Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract

Hours: Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week

Salary: Dependant on experience

We're looking for a Junior Fashion Designer to join our talented Design Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone at the start of their fashion design career - whether you're a recent graduate, have completed an internship or placement year, or already have some industry experience.

What you'll be doing


Working alongside our experienced Design Team, you'll be involved in every stage of the product journey, from identifying emerging trends to seeing finished gowns photographed and launched into our collections.


You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Research global bridal and fashion trends, creating inspiring mood boards and trend presentations.
  • Develop new bridalwear, bridesmaid dresses and accessories from initial concept through to production.
  • Produce technical packs and work closely with our international manufacturing partners.
  • Attend design development meetings, presenting your ideas and collaborating with colleagues across Design and Merchandising.
  • Analyse product performance and customer feedback to help shape future collections.
  • Support photoshoots, styling and product launches to ensure every design is showcased beautifully.
  • Help us continue to innovate whilst maintaining the commercial focus that makes wed2b successful.


As your experience grows, so will your responsibilities, giving you the opportunity to develop into an established Designer within the business.


About you


We're looking for someone who is creative, commercially aware and excited to learn. Graduates, placement students and candidates with up to 2 years' experience are encouraged to apply


You'll ideally have:


  • A Fashion Design degree, or relevant industry experience, including internships or placements.
  • A genuine passion for bridalwear and fashion trends.
  • Strong sketching, illustration and creative thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics and product development.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Confidence communicating and presenting ideas.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to learn from experienced designers.
  • Flexibility to travel within the UK and overseas when required.
