About Us

Joanne’s Journals is a fast-growing luxury stationery brand focused on wellness, organisation, and creativity. We create high-quality planners and products designed to help people feel more in control of their daily lives.

We’re looking for a creative, driven Social Media Content Creator / Photographer to join our team and help scale our content across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.

The Role

This is a hands-on, on-site role where you’ll be responsible for filming, editing, and posting content daily. You’ll work closely with our ads team and product team to create content that not only looks great—but performs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and post 3–5 pieces of content per day across TikTok, Instagram & Facebook
  • Plan and execute weekly and monthly content calendars
  • Capture and edit:
  • Product photography
  • Short-form video (Reels & TikTok)
  • Behind-the-scenes content
  • Lifestyle and aesthetic shots
  • Create ad-ready content for paid campaigns
  • Stay on top of trends and viral content formats
  • Work closely with the ads team to improve content performance
  • Maintain a consistent luxury brand look and feel

Bonus Structure (Performance-Based)

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram, or similar platforms
  • Strong skills in photography and/or videography (iPhone or camera)
  • Confident using editing tools (CapCut, Lightroom, Adobe, etc.)
  • Understanding of viral content, hooks, and trends
  • Creative, proactive, and reliable
  • Able to work independently and hit daily targets

Bonus (Not Essential)

  • Experience with eCommerce or product-based brands
  • Understanding of content for paid ads
  • Previous social media growth or viral content

Growth Opportunity

This role has a clear pathway into a full-time position for the right candidate, with the opportunity to grow into a key role within the brand.

Trial Task (Important)

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a trial task, creating a small set of content so we can assess creativity, editing, and understanding of social media.

How to Apply

Please include:

  • Examples of content you’ve created (TikTok, Instagram, or portfolio)
  • Links to any accounts you’ve worked on or grown
  • A short message explaining why you’re a good fit
