Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and organised Shift Leader to oversee daily operations within our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, and have experience in the Hospitality and leisure industry. This position offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic team, ensure smooth workflow, and maintain high standards of service. The Shift Leader will be responsible for supervising staff, coordinating tasks, and ensuring compliance with company policies. A strong focus on organisational skills, maintenance knowledge, and effective utilisation of Microsoft Word and Excel is essential to succeed in this role.

Duties

  • Supervise and support team members during shifts to ensure operational efficiency
  • Coordinate daily tasks and delegate responsibilities appropriately
  • Maintain effective communication with team members and management
  • Assist with data entry and record keeping using Microsoft Excel and Word programmes
  • Monitor adherence to health and safety regulations, including maintenance protocols
  • Handle customer queries professionally via phone and in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
  • Support training initiatives for new staff members
  • Ensure the work environment remains organised, clean, and safe at all times
  • Utilise organisational skills to manage schedules, stock levels, and equipment maintenance
