Description

SALES COORDINATOR

At Percepta, we bring first-class service across each market we support. As a Sales Coordinator in the United Kingdom, you’ll be a part of creating and delivering amazing customer experiences, while also enjoying the satisfaction of being part of a unique culture

Employment Details:

  • Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Hybrid, 2 onsite/3 home
  • Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.
  • Salary: The role offers a base salary of £26,500, with on-target earnings (OTE) of up to £41,000

What You’ll Be Doing

The Sales Co-ordinator supports our client’s Component Sales (FCS) team by driving revenue growth through both new business development and strong management of existing customer accounts. The role involves proactively engaging with customers via phone, email, and chat—using Salesforce to track interactions, manage accounts, and produce accurate quotations.

Responsible for the full sales cycle, the Sales Co-ordinator identifies and qualifies leads, schedules sales appointments, secures purchase orders, and coordinates order processing with internal teams. The role works closely with product development, purchasing, finance, sales, and marketing to ensure customers receive timely and accurate responses throughout the sales process.

During a Typical Day, You’ll

  • Prepare accurate customer pricing and quotations, ensuring compliance with internal processes and approval requirements.
  • Maintain and update CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to ensure accurate data and minimise pricing, invoicing, and order errors.
  • Manage customer quotes, registrations, and pricing documentation, including review, corrections, and approval coordination.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to source parts, issue RFQs, and support supply route analysis.
  • Generate new sales opportunities through prospecting, research, customer outreach, and follow-ups to meet activity targets.
  • Support customer enquiries, promote product knowledge, and coordinate qualified sales meetings while assisting with cross-departmental requests.

What You Bring to the Role

  • Previous entry-level sales experience, including outbound prospecting, achieving targets, and closing sales; B2B experience is advantageous.

  • Familiarity with internal systems e.g., SAP, Salesforce; and automotive parts is beneficial.

  • A-level education or equivalent experience required.

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and client relationship management skills, with the ability to handle objections effectively.

  • Excellent communication, research, analytical, organisation, and time-management skills; able to work independently or in a team.

  • Proactive, IT-literate, and confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office to support sales and administrative tasks.

What You Can Expect

  • 22 days Annual leave to start, increases by 1 day on anniversary of start date for the first 5 years, meaning a potential maximum of 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

  • Company pension

  • Life Assurance 4 x annual salary

  • Contributory pension scheme

  • Private Medical and Insurance and discounted dental scheme

  • Comprehensive travel insurance for you and family in line with Scheme rules

  • Discounts on brand new vehicles

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

  • Cycle to work scheme

  • Free On-site parking
