Job Summary
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and high-quality care to individuals in home care settings. Your primary focus will be to support service users of the company with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position requires excellent communication skills, a caring nature, and the ability to follow care plans effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assist service users with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support individuals with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with service users to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in service users conditions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Drive to various locations if required for home care services, ensuring timely arrival for appointments.
  • Collaborate with care professionals to implement and follow individual care plans.
  • Engage service users in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
  • Ensure that the living environment is clean, safe, and conducive to the health of all residents.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to drive and have use of own car is essential for roles involving home care services.
  • Experience in home care setting is advantageous but not essential.
  • Proficiency in IT skills for maintaining records and documentation related to care plans.
  • A compassionate attitude towards individuals requiring assistance and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
