We're looking for a Bid Manager to join our Rail Services team based in Rayleigh, Essex.

Contract: Full Time, Permanent – flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know

Railscape Ltd are a specialist services provider to the Rail Industry. Our head office is located in Rayleigh in Essex, supported by regional offices in Kent, Humberside, Preston and Dorset. Our vision is to be the preferred supplier to the rail industry for all aspects of Arboriculture, Vegetation Management, Environmental Services, Minor Building Construction, Civil Works & Fencing. Responsibilities:

As a Bid Manager, you'll be working within the Commercial Team, supporting them in preparing winning bids.

Your day to day will include:

Use your strong interpersonal and communication skills to prepare a winning bid.

Develop tender period programme, communicate actions to the team and monitor progress.

Follow the agreed bid management procedures and ensure they are implemented at each stage of the bid process.

Chair Bid Kick off meetings, solution development and progress bid meetings with internal and external stakeholders

Preparing accurate, targeted and clearly detailed bids and proposals within the required deadlines.

Attend feedback sessions with the client and coordinate tender queries and amendments.

You will need:

Proven experience as a Bid Manager/co-ordinator: 2 Years (preferred)

Strong understanding of the construction and rail industries.

Exceptional grammatical and editing skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Excellent research and analytical skills.

Ability to meet tight deadlines and engage with peers to support the process.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

High attention to detail, with excellent editing and proofing ability to ensure questions are answered properly and accurately.

Computer literate and proficient in the use of MS Office.

Key Responsibilities:

Bid Preparation -

Research, analyse, and understand client requirements.

Collaborate with internal teams to gather relevant information and insights for bid responses.

Develop clear and concise bid documents that address project requirements, timelines, and budget constraints. Whilst identifying and minimising any potential risks to the Company.

Ensure proposals are tailored to the specific needs of each client, showcasing our ability to meet and exceed their exact tender requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
