Summary

We are seeking a reliable and conscientious person to maintain, develop and enhance a small country estate in Cheshire. Based in Bradwall, near Sandbach, this varied and hands on role is vital to ensuring our rural setting remains beautiful and is proactively managed for the future.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the landscape and outdoor areas including gardens, farmland, commercial land and woodland.
  • Duties to including gardening, mowing, plant and tree care, fencing, horticulture, woodland maintenance.
  • General grounds work.
  • Operate equipment such as tractors, mowers, trailers and similar equipment.
  • Conduct gardening, farming and horticultural tasks to keep the grounds healthy and attractive.
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs related to outdoor facilities.
  • Support environmental initiatives by managing sustainable landscaping practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure safety and efficiency in outdoor operations.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience with landscape maintenance, gardening and or horticulture.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to outdoor equipment.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
  • Understanding of environmental sustainability practices.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to groundskeeping and site management.
