Full job description

KPS Contractors Ltd is looking to recruit experienced Fencers and Landscapers. Established over 40 years ago, KPS Contractors Ltd is a family-run business covering all aspects of Tree care, Fencing, Landscaping and Grounds maintenance across the southeast of England. We work with both commercial and residential customers.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individuals to join our business who have previous experience in fencing and/or landscaping. The successful candidate must be able to always display professional and friendly attitude and be a team player.

You must hold a full UK driving licence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Turfing/planting/general maintenance/mulching/tree planting
  • Setting out fence lines, digging holes, cat scanning for services, erection of fencing
  • Working from architects drawings
  • Transporting of materials and accepting deliveries and dealing with queries
  • Working with site manager/general public/customers
  • Working to deadlines and managing time effectively
  • Liaising with the KPS office staff for purchase order numbers and site information
  • Checking equipment/products daily
  • Liaising with the workshop regarding equipment maintenance
  • Keeping your vehicle and all tools clean and well maintained
  • Wearing PPE at all times whilst working and in the yard

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Horticultural qualification preferred, but not essential
  • Training on all relevant equipment /environmental issues
  • CSCS Card

This is a full time and permanent role. The salary will depend on the level of experience.
