Do you have extensive experience providing a joinery service in a response maintenance environment? Are you looking to transfer your skillset to the public sector? If so, read on, as we may have just the role for you.

Your Duties:

• Undertake a range of response maintenance and building work across various properties.
• Carry out first and second fix joinery work, including major and minor construction, maintenance, and refurbishment.
• Repair, renew and maintain doors, door frames, windows, and associated ironmongery.
• Fit kitchens, flooring, and wall tiling to required specifications.
• Install cupboards, shelving, fencing, carcassing, simple form-work, roof trusses, slating, tiling, and flat roof construction.
• Carry out repairs to guttering, downpipes, and roofline works.
• Provide a high-quality customer service, liaising with residents to arrange appointments and access.
• Undertake minor multi-skilled maintenance tasks where required, including:

Plastering.

Plumbing.

Painting.

Non-slip flooring.

Tiling.

• Provide an emergency call-out service on a rota basis, including evenings and weekends.

Your Profile:

• Completed an apprenticeship in Joinery (either time-served or skills-based).
• At least two years’ post-apprenticeship joinery experience in maintenance or property improvement.
• Competent in core trade with the ability to complete a range of tasks without input from other operatives.
• Sound knowledge of Health and Safety regulations in a maintenance/repair environment.
• Full current driving licence to carry out required duties.

Desirable:

• Experience providing a response maintenance service.
• A C1 licence category.

Your Benefits:

• £13.91 per hour.
• PPE and equipment provided by the employer.
• Pension contribution.

Additional Information:

• Full time, Temporary.
• Location: Various DLO Depots (may be required to work from different sites).
• 37 hours per week.
• Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 16:30, Friday: 08:30 – 16:00.
• Basic Access NI Required.
