Do you have extensive experience of providing a joinery service in a response maintenance environment? Are you looking to transfer your considerable skillset over to the public sector? If so, read on, as we may have just the role for you.

Your Duties:

• To undertake a range of response maintenance and building work on the full range of properties. There will be minor work outside trade where required.
• To undertake, as and when required, first and second fix joinery work associated with major and minor construction work, and other maintenance and refurbishment work.
• To repair, renew and maintain doors, door frames, windows etc.
• To undertake all joinery work as necessary in the maintenance and refurbishment of the organisation’s stock/buildings including fitting kitchens and floor and wall tiling.
• To fit as and when required cupboards, shelving, fencing, carcassing, simple form-work and roof trusses, slating and tiling and flat roof construction etc.
• To provide a service to customers and maintain a good customer relationship on behalf of the organisation.
• Undertaking practical trade-oriented work appropriate to the post holders skills and experience.
• Minor work outside trade where required.
• To liaise with customers to arrange appointments, access arrangements, discuss work required etc.

Your Profile:

• At least 1 year of relevant joinery experience.

Your Benefits:

• £13.24 per hour.
• PPE provided by employer.
• Equipment provided by employer.

Additional Information:

• Full time, Temporary.
• 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-4pm Friday.
• A Basic Access Check is Required.
