HERMEQ are British manufactures & distributors of a wide range of temporary & permanent security fencing system, manufacturing across 5 sites in the Midlands, including our own in-house powder coating plant. These products include:

  • Mesh – Single, Twin, Prison & SR Rates Mesh Systems
  • Palisade – W & D profile, 1.5-3.0mm & Network Rail Spec Systems
  • Domestic Railings – Estate, Ball, Vertical & Bow Top
  • Turnstiles & Pedestrian / Vehicle Access Gates
  • Steel Hoarding (Inground & Ballast Systems)

With HERMEQ Steel (HERMEQ Steel - HERMEQ Steel) & HERMEQ Manufacturing belonging to the Group we are able to control our entire supply chain from steel sourcing & processing to the design and manufacture of industry leading equipment.

We are looking for an industry specialist to join our team and champion this product range. They will focus on getting our products specified by clients & distributors, whilst working with our in-house product development teams, designers & engineers to create new products. They will host teaching events & demonstrations at our depots & with clients across the UK. They will also work with purchasing to expand our product range to meet our customers needs. Although not directly a sales role this individual will work with our salespeople & their clients in order to maximise the exposure and sales of our temporary & permanent fencing systems. The role is to ensure our salespeople and their clients have all the technical know-how and information they need to keep people & their property safe.

As well as working directly with clients, our industry specialists play a vital team role. They work with our sales and operations teams to offer advice and support on specific projects, provide internal training and take on a soft sales role in an advisory form for our sales teams. The help our operations teams design and manufacture products that meet our customers needs & solve industry problems.

Although this is a UK based role, HERMEQ also operates in Ireland & the Netherlands. From time-to-time travel & working on projects abroad maybe required, although the majority of this will be handled online/remotely.

The successful candidate will be an industry/product expert, who is passionate about their industry, and opportunity/project focused.

Experience: Minimum 7 Years Product/Industry Experience in Security Fencing Industry

Hours: 08:00-17:00 - Monday to Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £60,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
