Locations: Colchester, Ipswich, Greater London & surrounding areas
Job Type: Part-time / Casual

Achilleus Security is recruiting Event Safety Stewards and SIA Door Supervisors with a Level 2 or 3 Spectator Safety qualification (QCF/NVQ/RQF) to join our expanding team.

Work at football matches, concerts, festivals, stadiums, and major live events across Colchester, Ipswich, Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex, Greater London, and the Home Counties.

About the Role

You’ll help deliver a safe, secure, and enjoyable experience for all event attendees.

Key duties include:

  • Crowd safety and security
  • Access control and entry screening
  • Monitoring behaviour and responding to incidents
  • Supporting safe crowd movement
  • Enforcing safety procedures
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Liaising with team members and emergency services

Essential Requirements

  • Level 2 or 3 Spectator Safety qualification (QCF/NVQ/RQF)- ALL ROLES
  • SIA Door Supervisor Licence (SIA roles only)
  • Aged 18+
  • Good communication skills
  • Physically fit for event duties
  • 5-year checkable work history
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Available evenings and weekends

Pay Rates (Including Holiday Pay)

Effective from 1st April 2026

  • Event Safety Stewards (Level 2 Spectator Safety):
  • £15.52 – £16.81 per hour
  • SIA Door Supervisors (Level 2 Spectator Safety):
  • £15.96 – £17.31 per hour
  • Response Team Members (Level 2 Spectator Safety):
  • £15.96 – £19.42 per hour

✔ Minimum 5 hours’ pay per shift guaranteed

  • Previous stewarding or customer service experience is beneficial (not essential)
  • Can commit to at least 15 hours per month

  • Ideally have previous Response Team experience (desirable)

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Are polite, professional, and respectful at all times
  • Work well both independently and as part of a team
