About the Role

Entertainment is at the heart of everything we do at Coastfields and a fantastic opportunity has now arisen for an experienced and accomplished Entertainments Manager to join our team.

Based in Ingoldmells, the Entertainments Manager will be responsible for creating and controlling our entire and diverse programme of shows, children's entertainment and visiting artistes across our venues between Mablethorpe and Skegness. Genres of entertainment at Coastfields cover Live Music, Comedy, Children’s Shows and activities, and Cabaret Shows which makes for an exciting and vibrant place to work.

Ideally an accomplished entertainer themselves, capable of a hands on management style, the Entertainment Manager will ensure the efficient running of the daytime and evening entertainment, across 6 venues ensuring all shows are consistently delivered to high standards.

Purpose of the Role

To organise and control our annual programme of entertainment across a variety of different venues

Manage the annual budget and deliver capital expenditure projects on time and within budget

Recruitment, auditions and rehearsals/dress rehearsals for show team and other entertainment team members

To organise and book a variety of visiting artistes and groups across all venues in line with budgetary targets and customer expectation

Oversee and maintain sound and lighting equipment across all venues

Assist with the marketing and publicity for shows and events, including website, what’s on guide and social media

Organise themed events/weekends, outdoor shows, festivals

To implement and enforce Health and Safety procedures

Deal appropriately with customer interaction and feedback

Ensure all shows are consistently delivered to a high standard

What We Are Looking For

You will ideally be an accomplished singer/entertainer

Proven experience in managing sound and lighting systems

Experience of managing a team

Excellent communication skills and a problem solving attitude

The ability to work to deadlines and within strict budgets

The confidence to work on your own and use your own initiative where necessary

A committed team player including being flexible, enthusiastic and passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Evening and weekend working will be required
