Extrusion Operator

The Role:

We have additional positions available to work with our existing extrusion team. You will be responsible for running the fibre extrusion process as well maintaining and improving all aspects of the company's systems & processes for extrusion. Maintaining accurate levels of stock control to meet the needs of the business.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Ensure the Extrusion Line is run in accordance with procedures and efficiently throughout the shift.
• Ensure that products are manufactured to specification and in accordance with the production plan and work instructions.
• Ensure product quality is met and maintained and all quality checks are completed.
• Ensure that Company Health and Safety policies/procedures are followed.
• Ensure the line is cleaned and maintained as instructed in accordance with our Policy
• Complete all required documentation during the shift.
• Maintain the machines integrity and report any damage that has been caused to your immediate manager.
• Inform the Production Manager regarding any issues that could affect efficiency, quality and health and safety.
• Play an active role in maintaining the OEE inputs and reports maintaining a continuous high standard.
• Ensure that the finished product is packaged correctly in accordance to the order specification.
• To actively work as a team member within your shift to ensure the highest standard of productivity is met.
• Other duties as deemed reasonable and necessary both now and in the future to meet the business needs.
