Quality Manager

We produce both fibre optic and LED lighting systems for several sectors – including architectural, gallery & display, commercial, residential and sensory.

The Role:

Leading and working as part of the Quality Team you will be responsible for maintaining and improving all aspects of the Company's Quality Management Systems & Processes.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Managing, developing, and improving all aspects of the Quality management system.
  • Implementation of new Quality management systems in line with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Monitoring and measuring all Quality KPI’s.
  • Ensuring that 1st off, interim, patrol and final inspection activities are conducted by you and the quality team.
  • Programming and running the CMM alongside others in the team.
  • Collation and analysis of data, maintaining all records and compiling of reports and recommendations for senior management.
  • Planning and managing the audit schedules for the Quality programme.
  • Team building within the quality team.
  • Planning and liaising with other Managers and departments, to ensure timely resolution of relevant issues to the mutual benefit of the teams, customers, and the business.
  • Defining, agreeing, and controlling Quality procedures and controlling and issuing of process sheets and process control documentation.
  • Generation of control plans and inspection reports for general production processes and specific client projects.
  • Carry out any other duties as required to fulfil the needs of the role.


  • Quality assurance, preferably within a Manufacturing Organisation
  • Experience with programming CMM machines
  • Experience with first article and final inspection procedures
  • Experience inspecting machined and fabricated components
  • Fully Conversant with complex Engineering drawings
