Electrajet Ltd is one of the UK's leading manufacturers and service providers of commercial pressure washing and forecourt equipment. For almost 20 years, we've designed, manufactured, installed and maintained equipment for many of the UK's best-known forecourt operators, automotive groups and commercial customers.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our expanding engineering team Scotland central belt and the North of Scotland

The Role

Working from home, you'll travel to customer sites carrying out:

  • Planned preventative maintenance
  • Breakdown diagnosis and repair
  • Installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding
  • Routine servicing and inspections
  • Customer demonstrations and operator training
  • Completing service reports using a tablet/mobile device
  • Liaising with our technical support team when required

Our equipment includes:

  • Commercial pressure washers
  • Self-service jet wash systems
  • Vehicle vacuum systems
  • Air and water towers
  • Multi-function forecourt equipment
  • Dog wash systems
  • Vehicle dryers
  • Water treatment and pumping systems

No two days are the same, and you'll be trusted to manage your own workload while delivering first-class service to our customers.

What We're Looking For

You'll ideally have experience working as a:

  • Field Service Engineer
  • Maintenance Engineer
  • Electrical/Mechanical Engineer
  • Plant Engineer
  • Industrial Equipment Engineer
  • Forecourt Equipment Engineer

You'll also have experience with some of the following:

  • Electrical fault finding
  • Pumps and motors
  • Three-phase electrics
  • Mechanical repairs
  • Control systems
  • Pipework and plumbing
  • Hydraulics or pneumatics (desirable)

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent fault-finding ability
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Flexible approach to travel and occasional overnight stays
  • Strong problem-solving skills
