Overview
We are seeking a flexible and professional Cover / Ad Hoc - Medical Receptionist/Secretary to provide administrative support within our healthcare facility. This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a medical environment, assisting with front desk duties and ensuring smooth daily operations. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with office and administrative experience looking for temporary or supplementary work. The ideal candidate will be organised, personable, and able to adapt to varying schedules and tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
  • Managing appointment scheduling and confirming upcoming visits
  • Answering phone calls, directing enquiries, and taking messages as needed
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and updating electronic health records systems
  • Handling administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
  • Assisting with general office duties to support the medical team
  • Ensuring the reception area remains tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked with necessary supplies

Requirements
