Role purpose

We’re looking for a creative, culturally aware Content Creator to help bring our brand to life through engaging social-first video. Reporting to the Senior Creative Lead and working closely with our marketing team, you’ll concept, plan, shoot and edit content that connects with our highly engaged audience. While much of the planning and briefing will come through the marketing team, you’ll regularly work with our founder, who will feature in many of the videos and collaborate on creative direction.

This role sits at the centre of our day-to-day content creation. You’ll be responsible for capturing authentic, social-first video, producing everything from more polished narrative pieces to spontaneous, in-the-moment content that reflects the personality of our brand. You’ll also travel to our stores, attend store openings and events and capture content on the ground. From quick behind-the-scenes moments to intentional social storytelling, you’ll be responsible for spotting and capturing the moments that resonate with our audience. This role suits someone who understands social media content instinctively, keeps their finger on the pulse of trends and knows how to manage social media content production from start to finish.

Some of the hats you'll be wearing

Content creator | Videographer | Mobile filmmaker | Social storyteller | Editor | Enthusiastic trend spotter | On-the-fly director | Creative collaborator | Planning & clothing preparer | Energetic communicator

Important skills & attributes:

Social video storytelling | iPhone filmmaking | Mobile audio and lighting | fast mobile editing | Platform-specific content | Social content planning | Trend awareness | On-camera direction | Collaboration | Communication | Multi-content management | Creative brief translation | Marketing and KPI understanding | Proactive mindset | Multi-disciplinary awareness | Stakeholder management

It's your job to add value by:

- Creating social-first video content that reflects our brand. Filming and editing engaging video content designed specifically for social platforms. Using iPhone as your primary tool, you’ll capture content that feels both high-quality and authentically informal.
- Owning social media content production from start to finish. From gathering and organising clothing samples and props to preparing iPhone-based camera setups and lightweight lighting, you’ll ensure everything is ready to go. You’ll manage relationships both internally and on location, keeping shoots organised, on time and delivered to a consistently high standard.
- Collaborating with marketing to plan content. Working closely with the marketing team to plan, prioritise and deliver social content that supports campaigns, launches and always-on storytelling.
- Working directly with our founder on video content. Filming regular content featuring our founder, helping guide the filming process so it feels natural and engaging while ensuring the final output meets creative expectations.
- Capturing spontaneous and planned moments. Spotting opportunities to capture content on the fly. Whether it’s a quick moment with our founder, behind-the-scenes footage in-store, or content captured during an event.
- Travelling to stores and events. Regularly visiting our stores to capture content, as well as attending store openings, events and other key brand moments where social content can be created.
- Editing and delivering content at the pace of social media. Turning around video edits quickly and efficiently using mobile editing workflows so content can be captured, edited and published quickly when the moment matters.

Desired skills and experience:

- Demonstrate a strong portfolio of social-first video content
- Bring ideas for repeatable social series or content formats
- Draw on experience creating personality-led or founder-led content
- Operate a vlogging camera
- Show an understanding of wider creative and media disciplines.
- Edit confidently in Adobe Premiere Pro

Benefits include:

31 days’ holiday as standard (for full-time employees)
Work wardrobe allowance
Employee discount
Employee Assistance Programme
Company events
Company pension (for eligible employees)
Fun & relaxed environment
Rewarding work

We are committed to a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture where everyone at Busby & Fox feels respected and empowered to do their best work. If there is anything we can do to make our recruitment process more accessible for you, please don't hesitate to let us know.
