About the role

TLO Film Services is looking for reliable, presentable and enthusiastic freelance drivers to support major film and television productions.

This is not just a delivery driving role.

You will drive picture vehicles to and from filming locations, remain with them where required, help production with vehicle movements and support our yard team with vehicle preparation between bookings.

You must be proactive, practical and willing to help without always waiting to be asked.

  • Remaining with vehicles during filming where required
  • Helping move and position vehicles on set
  • Supporting production with reasonable vehicle related requests
  • Inspecting vehicles on arrival at the filming location and recording their condition
  • Recording and reporting any damage that occurs on set
  • Keeping vehicles clean, secure and ready for filming
  • Helping prepare, clean, check and move vehicles at our Eton Wick yard
  • Assisting with loading and securing vehicles where trained
  • Reporting faults, warning lights, damage or delays immediately

What we are looking for

  • Full UK driving licence with no current points or endorsements
  • Confident driving manual, automatic and unfamiliar vehicles
  • Clean, smart and professional appearance
  • Reliable, punctual and flexible
  • Proactive and willing to help
  • Practical and comfortable working around vehicles
  • Good communication and attention to detail
  • Available for early starts, late finishes, nights and weekends
  • Reliable transport to reach our Eton Wick base

Desirable experience

  • Basic mechanical knowledge
  • Vehicle preparation, workshop, garage or bodyshop experience
  • Experience towing, loading or transporting vehicles
  • HGV Category C or C+E licence
  • Driver CPC or digital tachograph card
  • Experience with classic, prestige or specialist vehicles
  • Film, television, events or production experience

Film and television work can involve long days, changing call times, travel and occasional overnight stays.

Work is offered on a freelance basis according to production and yard requirements, with no guaranteed minimum hours.
