Full job description

NOW HIRING: CHEFS & COOKS FOR TV + FILM LOCATION CATERING!

Love feeding hungry humans? Love a bit of organised chaos? Love the buzz of a film set? Then come cook with us!

We’re an outdoor, on-location catering crew specialising in TV & Film, and we’re gearing up for a brand-new project shooting all across London. We need talented chefs/cooks to join the adventure.

What a Day Looks Like:
Early starts, big smiles, and feeding a crew of 130+ legends. Think breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack Monday to Friday (with the occasional weekend and night shoot thrown in—because, well… film life).
Our menus change daily, our food is never boring, and we actively want your creative flair.

You’ll be cooking in our mobile kitchen unit—with fresh air, fire, and film crew energy floating around you at all times. Yes, it gets warm. Yes, it’s outdoors. Yes, it’s great fun.

Bonus points if you have a car and licence—call times can be early, and we don’t want you teleporting in the dark.

If the job takes us far outside of Glasgow, we’ll cover your digs and travel. Easy.

YOUR ROLE

  • Cook up delicious meals for big, hungry groups (brekkie → mid-morning snack → lunch → afternoon snack)
  • Work on-location in our mobile kitchen setups
  • Help design menus with dietary needs and client preferences in mind
  • Keep the kitchen tidy, safe, and running like a well-oiled machine
  • Team up with our Catering Manager + crew to deliver amazing service
  • Follow all food safety + hygiene standards

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience cooking for large groups (film/event/banqueting experience = gold star )
  • Totally comfortable working outdoors or in mobile kitchens
  • Calm under pressure, team-focused, and up for a laugh
  • Food hygiene certification (Level 2+)
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
  • Must bring: positivity, flexibility, and a sense of humour—non-negotiable

WHAT YOU GET

  • Genuinely fun, varied work with a brilliant team
  • A chance to cook on high-profile film & TV sets
  • Competitive weekly pay
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Travel, meals & accommodation covered when we’re on the road

Contract Dates: Immediate Start - 9th August (Fixed term)
If you’re ready to cook great food, keep the crew happy, and dive into the wild world of location catering — we’d love to hear from you!
