Theatre Technician Full-Time, 37.5 hours

£26,093 to £34,610 per annum

6 months Fixed Term

Working under the direction of our Lead Theatre Technician, you will be responsible for the provision and maintenance of equipment in our performance spaces. You will provide technical support to students during rehearsals and productions, maintain a safe and secure workplace, equipment, and materials, supervise students working in the technical and production areas, support students in achieving their learning goals, act as Duty Technician during public performances, and deputise, as and when required, for the Lead Theatre Technician.

With undergraduate degree in a relevant subject and/or proven experience in similar technical role, you will have working knowledge of technical theatre processes including the use of a wide range of equipment and systems such as intelligent lighting control and programming, video, and counterweight flying. With a busy schedule of over 24 productions a year across our two venues flexible working will be necessary including some evenings and weekends.
