About BearJam

BearJam is an award-winning video production company based in London, creating bold filmed and animated content for brands including Ocado, Oracle Red Bull Racing, Just Eat, The Wall Street Journal (Custom Content), and Landsec. Storytelling and video craft is at the heart of everything we do.

We’re building an in-house AI team to produce generative AI video and unlock new visual possibilities for our clients. This is a chance to join that team early and grow with it.

Overview of the Role

We’re looking for a Junior AI Artist & Video Creator to support our growing AI team and help bring AI-powered visuals into commercial, branded, and social-first content. You’ll work day-to-day alongside our AI Artist and Creative team, learning the craft while getting hands-on with real client work.

It’s a practical, creative role for someone early in their journey who loves experimenting with emerging tools and who’s just as happy figuring out how to make a workflow run smoothly as they are making something look great on screen. We’ll give you the support, mentorship, and room to grow.

What You’ll Do

  • Help turn creative briefs into high-quality, AI-enhanced visual content
  • Experiment with generative image, video, and audio tools, and share what you learn
  • Write and refine prompts for image-to-video and text-to-video workflows
  • Build and tidy up production workflows — and automate the repetitive steps so the team can move faster
  • Clean up AI-generated content using After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
  • Support the integration of AI visuals into live-action and animated projects
  • Collaborate with our AI Artist and the wider creative team to deliver client-ready work
  • Keep up with new platforms and tools as they emerge
  • Use AI tools ethically, securely, and responsibly

Who You Are (Skills & Qualities)

Must-Haves:

  • Around 6–18 months’ experience creating visual or motion content — or a strong portfolio that shows what you can do
  • Hands-on experience with at least one or two AI image or video tools
  • A good visual eye and a sense of what works on screen
  • A basic understanding of building workflows and automating repetitive tasks — and the curiosity to get better at it
  • Some motion or video editing skills (AE, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
  • Comfortable experimenting with prompts and picking up new platforms
  • Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn
  • An interest in AI workflow optimisation and smarter ways to work
  • Fluent in English

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Exposure to VFX, motion design, or creative technology
  • Familiarity with editing, colour grading, sound design or animation
  • Basic scripting or automation knowledge (e.g. simple no-code or low-code tools)

Why Join BearJam?

  • A genuine chance to learn from an established AI Artist and grow into the role
  • Help shape how AI is used in real-world content production
  • Creative freedom within a supportive, ambitious team
  • Hybrid working with a studio base in leafy Wandsworth
  • Plenty of learning opportunities and room to grow
  • Benefits including software allowance, increasing annual leave, bonus scheme, gym access, and more
