About us:

We’re a small tight-knit team of four run by a composer working within the film and television industry. We value hard work, doing your best and the importance of life outside of work, in particular family, friends and self-care. Although we are small in numbers, we regularly work with freelancers who we consider part of the extended team, in which everyone is respected and encouraged to progress and achieve their goals.

About the role:

We are looking for a personal assistant to support the company directors with work and personal tasks as well as administration for all charitable endeavours. You will have the opportunity to work on new TV and film productions and be an integral part of supporting the delivery of the bespoke music that accompanies them, as well as new classical works, and helping the directors manage day-to-day life.

This is an office-based role with the option of flexible hours. The responsibilities are wide-ranging from admin to event planning, bookkeeping, social media work, photography/videography and more so if you have a keen interest in any of these areas then you will have the opportunity to integrate these into your role. If you enjoy working by yourself in a deadline-driven environment and having responsibility for all the work you do, this could be the role for you!

Prior experience as a personal or team assistant is beneficial but not essential. We welcome applications from those with a range of applicable skills. More information about the company will be given to applicants invited to interview for the role.

Responsibilities

  • Diary management and setting up meetings
  • Bookkeeping, processing invoices and expenses
  • Updating insurance documents regularly
  • Booking recording sessions, including time with relevant personnel
  • Keeping various online platforms up-to-date, including IMDb and the company website
  • Managing project budgets
  • Creating reports
  • Creating content for social media
  • Photography/videography for social media
  • Updating social media weekly
  • Checking & responding to emails daily
  • Renewing annual subscriptions
  • Organising printing of relevant documents
  • Answering requests for images and bios
  • Organising gifts for clients
  • Proofreading
  • Planning travel and preparing itineraries
  • Co-ordinating & attending Company events
  • Being the first point of contact for the composer
  • Handling all administration for charitable endeavours, including charitable organisations
  • Personal administrative tasks such as handling energy supplier changes, car insurance etc.

  • Carrying out household errands e.g. picking up deliveries, managing returns etc.
  • HR administration & assistance including recruitment, onboarding etc.
  • General PA administrative tasks

Candidate Requirements:

Essential -

  • Excellent written English
  • Knowledge of popular social media platforms
  • Excellent word processing and excel skills
  • Calm and adaptable manner as schedules and workload change quickly and frequently
